THE PRODUCT THINKING CONFERENCE

About PRODUCTIZED CONFERENCE 2019
We know that great products are hard to build, and just as difficult to manage. How can you improve your methods to make your processes easier and more efficient? For the fifth year in a row, we are organizing Productized Conference, where we hope to find the answers to this and other questions, with the goal of building better products.
During 2 full days of workshops and talks in English, product related professionals will be able to discuss their perspectives and share insights on how to build great products together with the leading minds in Product Thinking, Product Management, Product Design and Product Experience.
Hi! We are Productized
Productized organizes different activities with the intention to boost the product community around the world. It was created by professionals from the engineering and design space, with a history of co-founding several pioneering projects in Portugal such as TEDx, Beta-i, Startup Weekend and Silicon Valley comes to Lisbon.
We see products as a physical interface to a number of experience levels, with value on its own but also a lever for service, brands and entities trying to craft that user experience.

Lean Product Management
Good product management is in high demand. And for good reason. While mantras of “build the right product” are common place, very few companies can successfully put in place modern product management practices that drive business results and optimize for customer success. Jeff Gothelf will change that in this workshop.
Jeff GothelfProduct Leadership Lessons from the Samurai
This workshop offers insights for being successful at work, based on Eastern philosophies and martial arts, at the heart of which lies the right balance between reason and intuition. This is crucial in the modern world with flat organisations, where leadership is expected at all levels but seldom given the training and insight to become skilled in this.

Ten Things to Remember While A/B Testing
There is tons of content on A/B testing available, and yet people still manage to mess it up. This talk is a great opportunity to learn from Amber’s failures and successes and benefit from the top ten tips she is going to share with the audience

Success requires making tough decisions. Be brave or fail!
As product managers, we often find ourselves in the epicenter of changes. Sometimes we initiate them, sometimes they happen to us. In both cases, the PM has to have the courage and the passion to make the right calls, even if they are widely unpopular or questionable. This presentation will cover the case study of AutoCAD Mobile that had to undergo a monumental strategic shift during its highest business success and describe how our PM team is embracing the change and setting the product up for success in the long term.

This session covers three key principles for how design and data science teams can work together better to build greater trust among users.

Screening of 'General Magic'
‘General Magic’, a new documentary about the spinoff company in the early 1990s, will have one of its first European screenings at Productized 2018. The film captures an insightful story of a group of Apple veterans who invented a smartphone-like device 15 years too early.
