Introduction
Most product delivery problems aren’t about strategy, tools, or process. They’re about people using the same words, and meaning different things. Mihaela Draghici helps product teams work better together by fixing the one thing we usually ignore: language.
After 15+ years building products and leading cross-functional product teams across 4 countries and multiple industries, from education and martech to e-commerce and automotive, Mihaela kept seeing the same pattern: people not speaking the same language. Assumptions replacing shared understanding. Decisions getting lost between “what was said” and “what was heard” across sales, engineering, design, product, leadership. That’s what led her to her work today.
Through the Language Mapping Workshops & The Language Mapping Blueprint, Mihaela helps product leaders and teams get clear on how they talk about problems, priorities, ownership, outcomes, and success. When teams align on language, collaboration speeds up, trust increases, and execution becomes calmer and more effective. She is also an active speaker, mentor, and community builder. she speaks internationally about language as a leadership tool, helping teams actually understand each other, building products that matter, and leading with empathy in tech.
The Workshop
From Code to Context: How a Shared Team Language Unlocks Better Products
Cross-functional product teams struggle not because of tech limitations, but because of language misalignments. Engineers, PMs, UX designers, and business stakeholders often speak truthfully, but in different languages.
In this session I unpack a practical framework (the Language Mapping Blueprint) that helps product people model how different functions communicate about core product concepts, from “user value” to “risk” and “priority”. They will identify how misalignment shows up in real projects, and a step-by-step approach to surface assumptions and map shared meaning across functions.
What You Will Learn
See how identical terms fracture across disciplines and seniority levels
Experience how alignment breaks even among highly capable professionals
Learn a concrete method to surface and resolve these gaps quickly, which they can apply in their own teams and organisations right away.
